Cortes community Forest is the non-aboriginal equal partner in the Cortes Forestry General Partnership (CFGP) with the Klahoose First Nation.
The CFGP and the Cortes Community Forest Cooperative are the result of decades of work on the part of the Cortes Island community. As a cooperative organization, we are guided by our members for the betterment of our community.
We hold a strong vision for the future of our island’s forests and encourage those interested in our work to get involved.
