The Station Manager is a new position and will beultimately responsible for the day to day operation of Kootenay Coop Radio (KCR), including the management of station finances and the supervision of the station's paid employees. He or she will be responsible for the supervision and mentoring of KCR's volunteers, and will promote a volunteer environment that will create a positive and rewarding experience for everyone involved. It is expected the Station Manager will reside in or near Nelson.

The Station Manager reports to the KCR Board of Directors.

Qualifications: 

The successful candidate must possess excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, along with a proven record of financial expertise and budget management.

Salary: 

Remuneration between $28,000 and $35,000 - commensurate with qualifications
